Summary formulas (None added)

A summary formula lets you add a column to this summary with numbers, such as averages, that would otherwise require a separate table to "roll up".

Step 1: Define summary variables

Summary formulas use variables you define here, not ordinary fields. The variables are recognized only in these formulas.

Step 2: Write summary formulas

Use your variables as you would normally use fields. For example, an Income formula might be "[Revenue (tot)] - [Expense (tot)]".

Step 3: Next you can...

Go to Summarize to show your summary formulas in columns.

Go to Sorting to sort your rows by your formulas.
